Support Line for Offer Qualification
The Support Line for Offer Qualification (SLOQ) is a Financial Instrument provided by Turismo de Portugal (TdP), in partnership with the Banking System, aimed at supporting tourism companies of any size, nature, and legal form.
This line is intended for the following types of projects:
Redevelopment and repositioning of establishments and activities related to the defined economic activities (including expansion);
Creation of establishments and activities related to the defined economic activities, provided they are implemented in low-density areas;
Entrepreneurship (establishments, equipment, or leisure activities – NACE Groups 931 and 932 – and services associated with the tourism sector, with a particular focus on those based on technology).
With this, the LAQO offers financing for up to 15 years, including a maximum grace period of 4 years, requiring 20% in Equity. The remaining 80% is shared between Turismo de Portugal and the Credit Institution in the following proportions:
For PME’s:
- 40% Turismo de Portugal;
- 60% Credit Institution
Special Projects (1):
- 75% Turismo de Portugal;
- 25% Credit Institution.
(1) Projects to be implemented in low-density areas.
From the amount supported by Turismo de Portugal, there is the possibility of converting 30% into non-repayable funds when the estimated metrics for turnover, GVA, and jobs are met.
